SOMERSET, N.J.- Sacred Heart University first-year softball player Amy Petrovich was named to the NEC All-Tournament team as announced by the conference this afternoon.
Petrovich led the way for the Pioneers during the tournament as she tallied a .571 batting average tallying four hits including two doubles in just seven at bats during the two games the Pioneers were a part of. She had an impressive first season making the NEC All-Conference Second Team as well as the All-Rookie team tallying a .317 batting average with 51 hits, 15 doubles, and five homeruns. She also tallied a slugging percentage of .503. She was second on team in hits, doubles and third on team in homeruns.
