    The Sacred Heart University Women’s Ice Hockey team took the second game of the two-game set against NEWHA rival Franklin Pierce, defeating the Ravens 4-2. Senior Jayne Lewis tallied her second career hattrick in the game posting three goals. The Pioneers will return to action on Friday, Nov. 29 when SHU hosts LIU. Puck-drop is set for 2:00 p.m.

    The Sacred Heart University Women’s Ice Hockey team was selected to place second in the New England Women’s Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) 2019 Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced by the alliance this afternoon. Defending NEWHA Champion Saint Anselm was selected as the preseason favorite this season.
  • Bryant and Bishop Named Co-Captains While Women's Ice Hockey Releases 2019-20 Schedule

    Sacred Heart University Women’s Ice Hockey head coach Thomas O’Malley released the team’s 2019-20 schedule this afternoon. The 31 game regular season slate features 21 NEWHA conference matchups leaving 10 non-conference games for the Pioneers this season. The NEWHA has just added LIU Brooklyn to the conference this year which increases the number of NEWHA members to six for the upcoming season.
