Jordan Lintz Named Assistant Women's Golf Coach

FAIRFIELD, CT (December 2, 2011) - Sacred Heart head golf coach Matt McGreevy announced the hiring of Jordan Lintz as an assistant coach for the women's golf program. 

Lintz, native of Rapid City, South Dakota, currently serves as the Assistant Golf Professional at Great River Golf Club in Milford, home of the Pioneer golf programs.  She is a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professionals and a PGA Apprentice.

As a player, Lintz won the 2011 Connecticut Women's Open and qualified for the LPGA at q-school with full playing status in 2005.  She played on the LPGA Futures Tour from 2001 through 2008.  She attended the University of Wyoming, playing golf and graduating in 2001.

During her career at Wyoming, Lintz won three collegiate events including the Mountain West Conference Championship in 2000.  She was the first female golfer in the history of UW to qualify as an individual for the NCAA Regional Championship.
