  • Kim and Talwar Earn NEC Postseason Honors

    FAIRFIELD, Conn.— Sacred Heart University men's golf freshman Nathan Kim and sophomore Saptak Talwar earned Northeast Conference honors for the 2018-19 season. Kim was named the 2018-19 NEC Men's Golf Rookie of the Year while also garnering All-NEC Second Team honors, while Talwar earned All-NEC First Team honors.
  • Men's Golf Closes the NEC Championships in Third Place

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL- In their final tournament of the season, the Sacred Heart men’s golf team finished third at the NEC Championship Tournament. The team shot +27 for a total of 221. After finishing second on day one, the Pioneers moved up to first place on day two. The Pioneers looked to knock Robert Morris out of first place, but came up short after the third and final day.
  • Men's Golf Moves into Tie for First After Day Two of NEC Championships

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL–– The Sacred Heart men’s golf team finished tied for first out of nine teams at Day two of the NEC Men’s Championship tournament. The team shot 302 in round one and 299 in round two to finish with a team score of 601, tying the Pioneers with Robert Morris for the tournament lead. The Pioneers had three competitors finish in the top-10.
  • Saptak Talwar Leads the Field After Day One at NEC Men's Golf Championships

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL–– The Sacred Heart men’s golf team concluded Day 1 play in second place out of nine teams at the NEC men’s Championship. The team shot +14 to finish with a 302 team score on the 72-par course. Of the 45 competitors, Sacred Heart had three players finish in the top 15, with Saptak Talwar leading the field. Robert Morris holds the top spot with a +12 and 300 team score.

    FAIRFIELD, Conn.— Sacred Heart University men's golf freshman Nathan Kim was named the NEC Men's Golfer of the week, as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon. The honor is the first of the season for Kim after finishing in first at the SHU Spring Invite.
  • Men's Golf Finishes in Third at SHU Spring Invite

    FAIRFIELD, CT–– The Sacred Heart men’s golf team placed third at the SHU Spring Invite at Great River Golf Club. The team shot a 294 in round one and 304 in round two. Iona College placed first at the tournament, with a 594 team score.
  • Nathan Kim Sets Course Record for Men's Golf at SHU Spring Invite

    MILFORD, CT- The Sacred Heart men’s golf team placed first at the SHU Spring Invite at the Great Rivers Golf Club. The team shot 6-over par for a total score of 294. First-year Nathan Kim broke the course record and set the program record for lowest score with a 65 in the first round.
  • Saptak Talwar Named NEC Men's Golfer of the Week

    FAIRFIELD, Conn.— Sacred Heart University men's golf sophomore Saptak Talwar was named the NEC Men’s Golfer of the week, as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon. The honor is the first of the season for Talwar after finishing in first at the Towson Invite.
  • Men's Golf Finishes in Third at Towson Invite

    GRASONVILLE, MD––The Sacred Heart men’s golf team finished tied for second at the Towson Invitational. The team finished day two +5 and +12 on the weekend. The Pioneers finished with a total team score of 588. In round one the team shot a 295, while in round 2 the team shot a 293.

    GRAYSONVILLE, MD –– After Day 1 of play at the Towson Spring Invitational, The Sacred Heart University men’s golf team sits tied for third. Crosstown rival Fairfield, is also tied for third. The Pioneers finished +7 with a total of 295.
  • Men's Golf Finishes in Fourth at Gary Freeman Spring Invitational

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL–– The Sacred Heart University men’s golf team placed 4th out of 16 teams at the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational. The team shot 55-over par for a 919 total score. Augusta placed first, shooting only 14-over par.
  • Men's Golf Sits in Third After Day One of the BCU Gary Freeman Spring Invitational

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL–– The Sacred Heart University men’s golf team wrapped up first round play at the BCU Gary Freeman Spring Invitational tied with NEC foe Robert Morris for third place. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +24 and a 330 total.
  • Men's Golf Concludes Play at the Lonnie Barton Invitational

    ST. AUGUSTINE, FL –– The Sacred Heart men’s golf team placed 8th out of 20 teams at the Lonnie Barton Invitational. The team shot 44-over par and posted a total score of 620. The tournament saw 123 golfers compete, with Sacred Heart’s Nathan Kim and Hector Gutierrez finishing in the top 25.
  • Men's Golf Tabbed Second in NEC Preseason Poll

    FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Sacred Heart men's golf team was selected second in the Northeast Conference preseason coaches poll announced by the conference office on Tuesday. The Pioneers ended the fall with three players finishing in the top-25 at the UConn Invite, before finishing eighth in the Metropolitan Intercollegiate. Last season SHU finished in third at the NEC Championships at LPGA International Hills Course.
  • Lindholm Leads the Way for Men's Golf at Metropolitan Intercollegiate

    WEST ORANGE, N.J. — The Sacred Heart University men's golf team concluded its Fall season, finishing tied for eighth of 15 teams at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon at the Montclair Golf Club. Clifford Lindholm led the way for the Pioneers, finishing tied for eighth out of 90 individuals at the invitational. As a team, SHU finished 48-over par and a 608 total. St. Peter’s took the crown, finishing 23-over par and a 583 total.
  • Three Finish in Top-25 for SHU Men's Golf at UConn Invite

    HAMPDEN, Mass. — The Sacred Heart University men's golf team concluded its play at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse, finishing eighth out of 13 teams on Monday. The Pioneers had three golfers finish in the top-25 out of 82 individuals at the invitational. As a team,  SHU finished 45-over par and a 909 total. Invitational hosts UConn took the crown, finishing 19-over par and an 883 total.
  • Men's Golf Concludes Play at MacDonald Cup

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Sacred Heart University men's golf team concluded its play at the Macdonald Cup, hosted by Yale, finishing 13th out of 14 teams on Sunday. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +65 and a 905 total. Illinois won the tournament, finishing 14-under par and a 825 total.
  • Men's Golf Concludes Play at the Hartford Hawks Invitational

    HARTFORD, Conn. — The Sacred Heart University men's golf team concluded its play at the Hartford Invitational, finishing seventh out of 20 teams on Tuesday. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +9 and a 585 total. University of Central Florida won the invitational, finishing -26 and a 550 total. Clifford Lindholm led the way for the Pioneers, finishing tied for 12th out of 112 competitors, shooting 3-under par. Lindholm shot best in the second round as he shot 7-under par.
  • SHU Men's Golf Places First at Ryan T. Lee Collegiate

    The Sacred Heart University men's golf team concluded its play at the Ryan T. Lee Collegiate at Hop Meadow Country Club, finishing first out of 11 teams on Sunday. Saptak Talwar won the Individual Medalist honors at 1-under par after a two-hole playoff. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +9 and a 585 total. Bryant and Saint Peter’s finished tied for second with team scores of +18.
  • SHU Men's Golf Rounds Out Play at Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate

    The Sacred Heart University men's golf team concluded its play at the annual Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, finishing ninth out of 18 teams on Monday. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +36 and a 900 total. Tournament host Missouri finished in first with a score of 16-under par. North Dakota State finished in second as they shot 13-over par for the weekend.

    The Sacred Heart University men's golf team opened up its 2018 fall season sitting in 14th place after day one at the annual Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate at Turning Stone Resort & Casino on Sunday.
