  • Men's Basketball Announces Northeast Conference Schedule

    FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's basketball schedule for the 2019-20 season became finalized Wednesday with the release of the Northeast Conference schedule. The Pioneers completed a 15-win campaign in 2018-19 that included an 11-7 mark in NEC play, earning the No. 3 seed in the 2019 NEC Tournament. The 11 league victories marked the highest single-season conference win total since 2015-16.

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sacred Heart men's basketball senior Kinnon LaRose and junior E.J. Anosike have been selected to the 2018-19 NABC Honors Court, as announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Anosike and LaRose both earned a spot on the Honors Court – which recognizes men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

The schedule features 13 games leading up to the start of Northeast Conference play in January, including three home matchups at the Pitt Center.
