Executive Director of Athletics Bobby Valentine and Wayne Mazzoni to Present at the USA Baseball Coaches Clinic

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sacred Heart University executive director of athletics Bobby Valentine and baseball pitching coach Wayne Mazzonni will be speaking at the USA Baseball Coaches Clinic, hosted by Steel Sports Academy in Yaphank, New York on Sunday, July 28.

Valentine and Mazzoni will be presenting with other coaches such as Hofstra University head coach John Russo and Farmingdale State University head coach Keith Osik.

Valentine, a former MLB player and manager also serves as a Steel Sports Advisory Board Member. He will be hosting a presentation for coaches on the recruiting process, while Mazzoni will be hosting a presentation on pitching.

USA Baseball Coaches Clinics are an educational program for any and all individuals who are currently coaching baseball or aspire to coach baseball at any level of the game. The program aims to create a higher standard of coaching education and enhance the ability of coaches to better serve their athletes, their team and the communities. The clinics provide a hands-on learning experience for all coaches focused on some of the key fundamentals of the game, as well as practice planning and team management.
